COVID-19 Home Delivery for Dispensing Patients Update for 15 June 20

We Hope that you have all been keeping safe and well during the COVID-19 outbreak.

As our fantastic volunteer delivery drivers and also patients will be returning to work over the coming weeks, and as the Practice slowly returns to normal we will need to change how you get your medicines from us.

This has been a great effort by our Dispensary staff to have medicines ready for home delivery for our 3,000 dispensing patients, and I am sure that has been much appreciated by all of you.

Deliveries – 15 June onwards

From Monday 15 June we intend to cease our weekly deliveries of repeat medication and acute on the day deliveries.

Patients are asked to attend the Practice when notified their medication is ready for collection – this is normally by text.

Prior to this date you may be asked to collect acute medication if a driver is not available.

(This does not affect our housebound patient monthly dossett deliveries)

Shielding Patients

For those patients who have been asked to shield, we ask that you also arrange a friend or family member to collect your medication where possible from 15 June.

If you do not have someone to collect for you, please contact our Dispensary as soon as possible so that our volunteer drivers can continue to deliver to you. Please call the Practice on 01869 249 222 select Option 1 and leave a message, or send us a message using this online form
