Practice Support Team

Management

Responsible to the Practice Partners, the management of the Practice is overseen by the Practice Manager.  Their role is to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Practice across all business disciplines such as HR & Payroll, Finance, Facilities and Resources, and the long term viability of the Practice, as well as overseeing all non-clinical areas.

Operations Support & Administration

Responsible to the Practice Manager, the Operations Support Manager with her team (Operations Support Assistant, Summariser and Medical Secretaries) ensure the Practice runs effectively day to day and that the other departments are supported.

In addition, we also have an IT Manager and Accounts Clerk, who come under the Practice Manager, who provide further support to the management of the Practice

Patient Services

Our patient coordinators provide an important link for patients and other healthcare organisations with the Practice, and are the initial contact point for most enquiries. They provide information on services and results, and direct patients to the right person depending on the health issue or query. With the large demand on our services our patient coordinators have the difficult task of ensuring all the available appointment slots are used as effectively as possible. The patient coordinators also undertake various patient administrative tasks to support the clinical staff.

Dispensary

The Dispensary team administers patient repeat prescriptions for all patients and dispenses medicines to approx 3500 patients who do not live near to a community pharmacy.
